This application assists in installing and configuring your PC to operate with the Motorola iM1100 Wireless Modem (sold separately). The iDEN iM1100 Wireless Modem is designed to operate with iDEN networks using iDEN Packet and Circuit Data protocols. Motorola iM1100 Wireless Modem User Guide also included. Download Instructions.

Download Instructions

1. Click on the Download button to transfer the iM1100Installation_R0202.zip file to your computer.

2. Locate the new downloaded file on your computer and double click it.
   (WinZip will open up the zipped file)

3. Click the Extract button on the menu bar of WinZip

4. Choose a location to extract the files.

5. Once you've extracted the zip file, you will see a folder called iM1100Installation. Open the iM1100Installation folder and double click on Setup.exe

6. The set up program will step you through the installation process.
   (Windows NT and 2000 users will need administrator rights to complete the installation.)

7. IMPORTANT!! Windows 2000 user will need to install the WIN 2K Hot Fix (Q275042) that is included in the iM1100Installation folder. Without this Hot Fix on laptops with Windows 2000, the iM1100 will not work properly.
